[SOLVED] Disable the new global shortcuts in 8.60 version

After upgrading to 8.60.0.76 version I stumbled upon a regression: if I have a call and use Ctrl+e while skype is not focused, I get disconnected from the call. So, basically whenever I try to do something in background while having a call, I get constant disconnects because Ctrl+e is a reeealy generic shortcut that is used by too many apps, it makes no sense it was made global.

Okay, I found how to disable global shortcuts

Tools → Settings → General → × Enable global shortcuts

Hi KharlamovConstantine,

My name is Didi, an Independent Advisor.

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. If you prefer not using the global hotkeys, you can toggle it off under General in Settings.

Thanks, yeah, FWIW this link was where I found the answer that I posted in prev. comment. I did send feedback too though.

Btw, the link has no instructions for Linux :c I figured they're the same as for Windows, but someone else might get confused by this.

Thanks, KharlamovConstantine. Either, it's the the same or it's not available on Linux devices yet since there was no mention on the link.

Cheers!

It is indeed the same, as I did mention. It is a problem in documentation though that should be fixed.
