Card Symbol: Spades, Hearts, Diamonds, Clubs

In earlier versions of Word I could find the suit symbols for a deck of playing cards so I could insert them into my documents when writing about Poker or Bridge. Now I can't find them. Are they gone? Where can I find them to insert into my documents?

I am using Microsoft Professional Plus 2010 version 14 32 bit

Those characters are in several fonts. You can get at them easily in the Symbol font. In Word, from the Insert menu choose Symbol > Advanced Symbol to display the Symbol dialog box. Double-click a symbol to insert it into you Word document at the current cursor position.
