Easily "Like" a Picture within Sharepoint Picture Library

Hi all,

i have created a picture Library (new experience) and shared it with others. I want them to like pictures easily, but I didn't find a way yet...

Easy means: the Like button is visible while viewing the Picture.

1. Within Information Panel, there is option to like it

2. Thumbnail view does not work, see as well this discussion: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/msoffice_sharepoint-mso_win10/preview-in-a-list-view-of-a-picture-library-is-not/f71a812c-1a51-401f-8e46-9ce711fd823e

3. Within Slideshow, there is no Like Button ....

Right now, it is very anoying, as I am viewing the Pictures within Slide Show

and need to remember the file names in order to like them afterwards within the normal List view....

Has Anybody an Idea?

Best regards,

Eric

Answer

Hi Eric,

There is no way to like the picture from slide show itself, the only way to like the picture is from the list view.

This seems to be a good idea for the SharePoint Product group team to implement, we’ll suggest you provide your feedback in SharePointUserVoice. UserVoice is the best way to make the product better for you and others.

Neha
