They do not appear to understand what is happening now, so there is not a hope in hell that they will understand skipping ahead. For a start they would have to read FH, which they plainly do not.....!

Apparently I will need min. 16GB RAM for Win 12 perhaps even 32 GB RAM.

As the old, old song says "Skip to my lou, my darlin'".

Personally I'll stick with the normal fast ring.  That's fast enough for me. :)

yep, They will complain, then whats the bet some don't read the part about not being able to go back to fast ring, then ask how to do it ?

{Quote} you will not be able to leave Skip Ahead and go back to builds from the RS3_RELEASE branch without reinstalling Windows.Once the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update is released to the general public, this skip ahead option will go away and the Fast ring will be back to receiving builds from the RS_PRERELEASE

"not being able to go back to fast ring"

I think you have misunderstood Skip Ahead a little.  Both the release and pre-release branches are forks of Fast Ring.  No one is leaving Fast Ring in the first place.  You choose either Fast Ring release or Fast Ring pre-release and can't switch between them again until the two merge at Fall Creators Update roll-out (without re-installing Windows).

For those that don’t understanding what’s going on. They have added all the new stuff they are going to add for the Fall release, everything now will be polishing up the final build. If you want to try the new stuff you have to choose “Skip Ahead”, of course it is not going to be as stable, but you ought to know that.

Only if the new stuff you want to try is in an in-box app.  New baked in features are not different between the two branches.
