PayPal issue?

Sup!

I wish to add my PayPal details but it doesn't want to let me.

I checked and United Kingdom is the regions that allows PayPal methods but when I try and add via the XBox console it just does nothing, when I click it it highlights as normal but no box comes up just the menu stays up. 

When I try to do it online I have no "Pay with Paypal" or "Add Paypal" option just the normal credit card option.

Is there something I need to enable?

Just to clarify, you followed these steps to add Paypal and it didn't work? Just no button, no error message or anything?

 

  1. Go to https://live.xbox.com/account .
  2. Sign in using your Windows Live ID credentials. 
  3. Under Account Information , click Edit Payment Options . 
  4. Click Add PayPal . 
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Yep, there is just no button at all offering me to add PayPal.

This is all i get on my screen at that point: [View:http://i53.tinypic.com/110vrt0.png] nothing above or below this part of the webpage either.

I just checked that now that webpage screen shot was several minutes ago.

But this hasn't changed at all for me I've tried to add a paypal method when I first created this post on the 16th.

That's when I first noticed that I could add PayPal because the option came up on the Xbox itself but I was told to add it via the website, so I logged in went to the payment method page and it is how it is in the picture above, and has been like that since the 16th.

Is that other payment method you have blurred out a Credit/Debit card? It's not another Paypal account, correct? Sorry, have to check.

Yeah it's a Visa Debit card.

Alright, I'm going to investigate this a little further. Thank you very much for the screen shot and the help. I'll post back in the forums when I have an update.

What is the age on your account? Currently the account must be 18+ to use Paypal. Are you able to download an M-rated Demo?

I can download game content under parents account letting me.

I'm 18 in July so no fuss.

But will this feature be reduced to people not 18? I'm 17 and I use PayPal a lot, seems a bit unfair having PayPal18+
