Ok I've been having trouble trying to play Modern Warfare 2 on my xbox recently. After buying an xbox slim I had to ship it in to get refurbished after only a month of playing on it. Since then it has been fine until now. My original modern warfare 2 disc got a laser burn ringed around the center so it loads but I cannot get on multiplayer with it.
I figured that was normal until I asked my friend if I could borrow his disc, which he said worked fine for him, and I tried it, and my xbox could not read it. I tried cleaning the disc and downloading it but nothing worked. Every time I try to get on multiplayer it stops reading the disc. I returned his disc and he used it that night and told me that it worked fine.
I decided to ask another friend of mine if I could borrow his disc and he lent it to me. I'm having the exact same issue with his disc which also works for him on his xbox. This is a very peculiar problem as
1: The game loads I just can't get on multiplayer
2: All of my other xbox games work fine (including black ops and cod4 modern warfare)
Can someone help me with this issue please?
