My Beatles Rock Band Drums will not turn on.

I have replaced the batteries and they still will not turn on. Does anyone know where I can send them in to get repaired? I know that you can no longer buy them so that is not an option. I also did contact EA and they were no help.

Hi Cab0218,

Welcome to the Xbox Support Forums.

I assume you're now talking about a controller or it another accessoire?

Do you know who's the official company of these accessoires, so I can try if I am able to do somthing for you.

Met vriendelijke groet,

Rick N.,

Have you tried posting in the Harmonix support center? They may be better equipped to assist you with their products. Also if that is no luck, you may have to buy a new one off of eBay or Amazon since they are no longer made.

I called Harmonix first and they said I need to call EA and I did but they were no help. I will try posting on there and see. It sucks when something that costs so much cannot be fixed. I think it is something internal that came loose. That is all that I can think of.

Does any official support members know anything I can do besides what has been stated? Both Harmonix and EA have been very unhelpful.

Hey Cab, I'm afraid there are not further troubleshooting steps for that.  If they're new, though, I would definitely suggest just getting them replaced by the retailer.

I have had them since The Beatles Rock Band came out. I may just need to find someone who is good with electronics. Thanks anyways.

I had a set of these drums and had exactly the same problem, it turned out the battery connectors were a little dirty and the batteries weren't making contact properly. Gave the connectors a quick clean with some emery cloth and gently pried the connectors out a little to make the batteries a snug fit. Not sure if that might help you but worth a shot maybe.

Ok thanks I will try that. What did you use to clean them?

I just roughed the connectors up with some Emery cloth, it's like sandpaper, wire wool would work just as well. It's just a case of cleaning the connectors so you can be sure the batteries are making good contact.
