Karaoke ... need help

I have tried everything i can to get this game, the only thing i can do is get the smartglass app. when i try to connect to the game through the app it wont let me do it.

how do i get this game and play it?

I also have this issue... not available in Australia I think? Very frustrating as I can't find any info on availability, just that it has been released but I still can't find it other than the Smart Glass app.

From my understanding you have to download the app from your Xbox 360 console. You also must have a headset or a microphone that you can use to sing along with the songs. I hope this helps

To download the add, go to Apps  and search for new apps. You should be able to see this app over there. If its not listed, then it means that its not available in your location. Also the smartglass app works only when you play the game in the console or want to launch the game.

As soon as you start the game you will get additional info in the smartglass app.

Karaoke is made by the same company that made the Lips games. As was already stated you won't find this listed as a game. It's an App that is partnered with the Karaoke Channel.

Karaoke (All LIVE regions, excluding Japan and United Arab Emirates) 
Karaoke provides access to more than 8,000 songs from the latest hits to the oldies but goodies, available on Xbox LIVE. Your avatar will go on stage and sing with a full complement of stage props and back band. Use SmartGlass to play/stop/pause, browse the database and lyrics or to add songs to the playlist. Songs don’t require any download and will playback immediately via streaming for a robust karaoke experience.

As mentioned above it can be downloaded from the apps section of the dashboard.  It does provide achievements and you get 5 free songs per day that you can sing.  Anything else requires payment for the service.  2, 6, or 24 hours for the cost of some MS Points.  However, be aware that unless you plan on singing for 6 or 24 hours straight those two options may not be your best as the time keeps running down whether you are playing the game or not.
