Getting Downloads onto second console

So recovering my account onto the second console and downloading them to that console still does not allow my son to log in with his gamertag and play the new maps.

Is my only solution to this problem to give my sons account the ability to make purchases and buy the maps AGAIN so he can play them on his console?????

I have to believe that there is another solution because if I had simply recovered my account on his console when I originally bought them I wouldn't be having this problem due to the fact that once I recovered my account back to my console we would both be able to play the new maps.

no what you need to do is change the parental settings on your kid's account to allow for premium content

this is done in the family center

no copying the dlc to a usb drive will still require yoiur gamertag to be logined on the 2nd console

there is another method but its not really worth the time as it does take hours depending on your connection

a drm transfer can only be done once a year and all the dlc is transfered to the new console not just 1 dlc

you must sign in on your son's console and follow the instructions on that site

this can only be done once a year and all licenses are transfered to the new console so on your console only your gamertag will have access to the dlc and must be signed in at all times so whoever else uses your own console will not be able to use the content

you will need to redownload all the licenses on the new console so it could an hour or more depending how many dlc you have

make sure you follow the instructions to the letter because it can only be done once  a year and the console id must be the one you are transfering to

xbox support will not do early transfers

 all the dlc associated with the purchasing account i mean and its not between accounts but console to console only using the one account

that first post was explain "how that I was simply going to purchase the maps a second time under my kids gamertag but his gamertag does not have authorization for purchases so I am stuck again"

i thought you were saying you couldn't change the setting
