Im military so i have been moved to japan which falls into the list of live countries. but every time i want to download anything it wont let me. i checked my region in my billing section and it shows the US. but how can i change this? or do i even need to change this? next thing is my ISP, its verizon here on base which is a stateside provider. when i look up my ip information it shows my region as the United states.
since japan falls into the list of live countries then i should be able to get DLC?? if so then that would lead me to assume that my ISP (which gives me other problems) just gives me another reason to dislike them. then all i should have to do is take my box to a friends house who lives off station that is using a japanese ISP and im golden? just maybe??
next if all else fails, cant i transfer my profile to one of the new 8Gb usb flash drives for the xbox, ship it to my brother in the states, have him login to my profile and have him download the stuff that im wanting? then ship it back to me and i can then transfer the material back to my HDD?
