Clicking Play in ANY Challenge game returns the screen to the Windows home screen

I haven't been able to play any of the challenge games since November 5. I can select the game, watch the advertisement, but when I click Play it returns me to the Windows home screen. No error message is displayed. I've tried it repeatedly on every game and every day. Same result. Challenges are the only part of the game that I play. If not fixed, I'll uninstall it.

Helen, I am experiencing the SAME issue!  Please let me know when a "fix it" app becomes available, this is SO frustrating
