Can't Buy Points, Can't Add Credit Card, Can Get Lots of Excuses

Need to buy 1200 points for the latest COD map pack. No 1200 point purchase option. Bought 800 points with the credit card on file that has been used since the account was opened, no problem. A few minutes later, I tried to buy 400 points(800+400=1200), my credit card was denied. Tried the next day, denied again. Getting worried, deleted the card from the account. Called XBox support; I was told the credit card "was tied to too many XBox Live accounts". After checking, I was told it actually wasn't connected to ANY accounts. Then, I was told the reason the card was denied is because I tried to make too many XBox points purchases in too short of a time and got flagged for fraud. Well, Microsoft; one of the biggest corporations in the world, why don't you get a clue and let your customers buy the amount of points they want? Or, when you know millions of people are going to be buying 1200 points on a certain day, why don't you offer it? Which leads to yet another lame excuse; I tried to add a completely different credit card to my account and was told it was "not a valid credit card number".

Now I have a worthless XBox account. Xbox gaming is fun, but factor in the online game lag, disconnects, cheaters and now who knows what Microsoft is doing with my personal and financial information, it's not worth the problems. After dealing with this problem the past couple days, I would advise all XBox account holders to remove their credit card information from the XBox Live website. Why? Google "Sony PS3 hacked".

What's a used XBox, two wireless controllers and a few games worth on Craigslist these days?

to be honest, once you get the points you're gonna have round 2 of problems with the download over half the people I know can't even download the pack
