What strength is the wireless receiving at? (percentage)

Reduced wifi strength will return higher latency figure.

There is always going to be a increase in latency using wireless. So at 250ms that is a lot but depends on a number of factors.

Using a wired connection is always best for online gaming and reduced latency times.

Could be a factor with poor response from the server with the amount of consoles updating and joining the service.

It seems the whole world is connecting to servers in the US.  I'm in the UK and the IP addresses that the console was connecting at the time of the speed test to were all in the US.  I'm not sure whether this is intended or an issue but it seems pointless to do a speed test to a location that is not consistent with any of the servers you should be connecting to for media services and gaming etc.

it's not just you mate, I've got 60mb down and 3mb up and my latency never shows less than 160 compared to 15ms on my PC and both are wired, it's probably some genius at MS who has us all connecting to US servers.

I'd like to know if this is affecting us in game though?

same for me im on bt internet in uk 80 down 20 up and i never get under 160 latency really stupid to have to be connecting to an american server for europe .

Same problem here in London. My ping to my PC is 7ms and on the xbox one its 151ms. I also had an issue with a strict nat but thankfully resetting my UPnp sorted it.

mine is 153 ms, a bit strange and i am experiencing lag in BF4? related?

Your ping is low on pc because it will choose a server near you, but the xbox one test will be pinging seattle so you will need to run your pc speed test and pick a server in seattle to compare correctly.

speedtest.net to seattle, 183ms (from pc), this is bad and pretty sure this is causing issues playing BF4?
