HDMI and Av Help!!

Ok my Xbox is stuck in HDMI and I don't know how to get it back I have one of the old Elite Xbox's. I have tried unplugging the HDMI cables from both the Tv and Xbox then resetting the Xbox to the default factory setting but I can hear the audio still and I need to get it back into Av. and also I know i'm on the right channel for my tv and I dont know what else to do.

                                            please help me thank you

You have audio but no video? When you say reset to factory defaults do you mean this, turn the console on using the guide button on a controller, as the console boots up press and hold Y and the right trigger on the controller.

Please ensure you have your hdmi cable connected to both the console and tv when you are trying anything.

You need to put more detail into this because from my understanding, there is no issue here. Is there no audio or are you getting random sounds or is your tv at black screen?

Hi, the first thing I would try is a different HDMI cable, also try using another HDMI port on your tv if you have one.

Hi there,

what is the model of the TV you're using?

Is it possible to do the same setup but with a different tv, different cable, different ports.

So you can determine what part of the setup is causing this problem.

For instance if you try this on a different TV, you can determine the the TV is or isn't the problem.

If you use a different cable or different ports you can determine if it's the cable or the ports

etc.

Also have you tried the things here: support.xbox.com/.../audio-video

Let us know what you've tried and what the results are
