Gamertag did not change but my creditcard got charged

Hello

On 8 october I tried to change my username to Andr0s.eu on my Xbox 360. I filled in the form, accepted the charges but the system wouldn't download my new user profile. I contacted a Microsoft employee who assured me this was an internal error and it would get fixed later. I still have my old gamertag but now I have received my credit card bill and got charged for a gamertag that hasn't been changed! Please change my gamertag or return the money on my credit card. Thank you.

Andros

In order to best assist with this, I recommend getting in touch with Xbox Billing Support. In the U.S., they can be reached at 1-800-469-9269 or here: support.xbox.com/contact-us

Hi there Andros, did you check https://billing.microsoft.com/ ?  If not, please have a look at that to ensure that you where charged by Microsoft for a Gamertag change.  I saw that you said you filled out a form for a Gamertag change?  What form are you talking about?  Gamertags don't require any type of forms to be filled out.  Also, if you tried to change your Gamertag to Andr0s.eu it would not have let you because periods and special characters are not allowed such as *%^)#$@.,>:;'"[}{+= etc.  Also, how long ago did you change it??  The reason I ask is because it can take some time for the changes to make effect in the system.
