don't remember my pass code

last time i change my pass code and it been over a week sine i play my xbox so today when i going to play on xbox live till i forgot my pass code i cant remember it why dosen't microsoft let use change when u try to many times but still can't remember and then said change ur pass code not when u log in when your offline you should be able to do the same when ur offline or in the xbox live.
