Winows Media Player error message "Cannot Play File because of network error occured".

During my webinar classes, the window media player stops working 5min into class time.  The error message state network error occurred. How can this be when I connected to my internet service.

Any help would be appreciated.

Answer

Hello MrsCleaner,

·         Where are you looking for these settings?

You will need to verify the settings from the Media Player. Open your Windows Media Player:

1. In Windows Media Player, on the Tools menu, click Options. (If the tools menu does not appear, click the ‘Alt’ Key on the Keyboard after you open Media Player).
2. In the Options dialog box, on the Network tab, in the Streaming proxy settings area, verify your settings.
