missing msvcr71.dll, stops progress; what to do?
This is a real obstacle. Seems to involve the Firewall ... what should be done?

Hi,

MSVCP71.dll originally shipped with Visual Studio .NET, and gets used for VC++ applications that use the standard C++ runtime during compile. You can get a copy of the file by installing the Visual C++ Runtime Redistributable from Microsoft download center.
