Windows 7 on Parallels Desktop 6 on an iMac can't network with Windows XP on a PC.

Hi.  I'm having a hard time networking my windows 7, running on my iMac via Parallels Desktop 6, and my windows xp on my pc.  The windows xp networks fine with the snow leopard on my iMac, but the windows 7 cannot see the windows xp and vice versa.  I have internet access on all three oses; both my iMac and pc are connected to a belkin g wireless router by cables. The workgroup name on all 3 oses are set to the same name.  printer and file sharing are enabled on all 3 oses.  In windows 7, clicking a little icon on the task bar tells me that I am connected to a network and have internet access, but when I go to control panel->network and sharing center->view network computers and devices, I don't see my windows xp computer.  Can someone help? Or is it impossible to network an os on a virtual machine to an os on a separate computer?

Hi,

In case anyone is wondering, this problem has been resolved.  It was very simple really.  All you had to do was go to the Devices pull down menu from the top Parallels menu bar, go to Network 1, and change the settings from Shared Networking to Bridged Networking==>Default Adapter.  It was all a Parallels issue and not a Windows 7 one.  But if anyone else has this problem and comes here for answers, this is the solution.
