SATA Drivers Missing for ULi SATA/RAID Controller (1573) - Cannot install on partition 0

I just spent about two hours trying to get Win7 to install on an older computer due to lack of workable Sata drivers.  Windows Vista didn't have any problems with the drivers but Win7 must have blacklisted them because they may be too old. 

Search String:
ULi SATA/RAID Controller (1573)  Version 6.3.0.2

I found the drivers on ZDNet under:
ULi SATA/RAID Controller (M1575/1697) 1.0.5.9 (Windows) then it took me to:
www.radarsync.com/downloaditem.aspx?Locid=136807
I downloaded Floppy-AA1697.zip (Vista x64) but comes with both 32 bit and 64 bit drivers.

Vista uses the same 6.3.0.2 version but the date on the file is 4/28/2007

I hope that this helps someone save hours of time.

BTW: this was for a Shuttle Barebones PC / ST20G5
