Hello,
I am on a desktop computer, Alienware Aurora R4, and I am trying to upgrade to the latest insider build 10547. It gets to installing drivers, about 32% complete, then I get a BSOD:
SYSTEM_SERVICE_ERROR (ks.sys)
After a bit of searching I have done the following:
- Disabled my webcams
- Removed 2 physical drives
- Uninstalled Webcam Central software
- Run sfc /scannow
- Run chkdsk /f
- Run DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
Unfortunately none of the above has worked, and I am at my wit's end. If someone could help me with finding and posting some type of log or dump file to tell me exactly what is going on, I would appreciate it. I am stuck on build 10525, and the computer restarts every night trying to install 10547.
If not, then how bad would it be to stop receiving insider builds and just wait for normal updates? Will I revert to the buggy pre-10525 release?
