Only 1 default power plan? - Windows 10

Hello, I have a problem with my power plan.

I have a Surface 3 computer that when I first received had Windows 8.

I upgraded my computer to Windows 10 as soon as I can.

However, when I checked the power plans I could only find one power plan installed by default - Balanced.

Does anyone know why there was only one power  plan, or how I can download / obtain the other 'default' power plans?

Thank you!

That suggestion isn't going to work for you, all it's going to do is likely show you a single power plan in command prompt instead of control panel.

If you are still having trouble, try this Denny:

Open the registry editor.  If you don't know how, open search/Cortana and type regedit

Using the folders on the left hand side, navigate to the following folder:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power

on the right, one of the keys near the top should be called CsEnabled.  Click on this.

Change the value of this key from 1 to 0.

After you reboot you should have your power plans back.  Hope this helps!
