UK Time Zone for Sport

This may be due to usage of UTC:

Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) is the primary time standard by which the world regulates clocks and time.  For most purposes, UTC is used interchangeably with GMT.

It does look like confusion over UTC

as you say GMT/UTC can be used interchangeably

The current UK time is GMT/UTC+1, if you search bing for uk time zone it says uk is on UTC+0, which is wrong

looking at a US time zone, searching for New York time zone says it is UTC-5, this would make NY 6 hours behind the UK, where I am sure it is only 5 behind the UK (GMT/UTC-4)

UTC should be a static time zone, no daylight saving on it, but it looks as though UTC is being classed as the same time zone as the UK, which is only correct during the winter months

Time of posting this is 9:25 UK Time, 8:25 GMT/UTC (which shows that UK is not on UTC+0)

It's been another week now and we are still wrongly showing as GMT

You can probably see the issue, but here are screenshots showing the problem

GMT = UK time minus 1 hour

so reading these makes it look like you need to add one hour onto the times to get the UK time

I checked the status with the product team and all I know is that they are actively working on this issue.

On another note, I'd like to share some news with you:

Microsoft will keep MyMSN live through 10/30.  In the meantime, we have heard the user feedback and will be working to build additional personalization on the New MSN.  We’ll have an update in the coming days.

As this new page is now the default I find it very disappointing that the basics cannot be sorted out
