How to make Outlook automatically close an open message window after moving/filing item out of Inbox?

In Outlook for Windows, if I have a message open in a window, then move it into a folder other than Inbox, the message window automatically closes.  It's kind of like "putting the message away" after reading it and deciding to file it.

I don't see an option to setup this behavior in Outlook Mac 2011.  You move the message, but the window remains open and you have to take the extra step to manually close the window.

Any ideas how to set this up or enable this behavior if it's an option?

Answer

That's not supported in Outlook for Mac.
If that's an important feature for you, I would strongly encourage you to use the Help > Send Feedback command from within Outlook to let MS know, and help them prioritize future development.
