14342--latest build--problems with Feedback

OK, aside from the fact that builds 143-28/32/42 won't even install in my UEFI desktop unless I disable secure-boot first (installs either lock up or simply revert to 14316 if attempted with secure-boot on), once I get 14342 installed and try to install Feedback @ Settings/System/Apps & Features/Manage Optional Features/Add a Feature...the build tells me there are no optional features available for installation!  Meaning, with yet another build, I am unable to supply Feedback.

You must let Feedback load as it can take up to 1/2 hour(this is posted under what is new with build 14332, 14342) after doing an upgrade, and have you just trying to click on the Feedback Hub icon under all apps, also you can just drag it to the start.

I tried four times this afternoon to install this build on my HP PC.  No luck.  Does the download updates thing.  When it finally asks to "restart computer to complete install" the PC simply reboots to 14332.

Sometimes these downloads after initial install are not available immediately when you upgrade on the first day of new preview. I had to wait till this morning after installing 14342 last night to get the Australian language files. All there now - all working for me.

Note this optional feature issue is a separate issue from the UEFI issue and from the install upgrade issue.

Did not have to drag. Just waited and it when I tried from the taskbar it opened.

Yes, it finally sorted itself....;)  I now have Feedback.

I have exactly the same problem going round in circles, downloads it, installs it (seems to) then when computer reboots message comes up from bottom left 'we had some problems installing this update' & I revert back to 14332?

What is wrong with these updates?  Why do they almost seem to fall over/crash systems?

Well, you didn't tell us anything about your computer or what you have installed to cause the upgrade to abort, but to answer your question, there's nothing wrong with build 14342 to prevent it from installing, either as an upgrade, or clean install. It installed, smooth as silk, on all of our computers.

If you want to tell us some details, we might be able to help you get it installed.

As I explained in my earlier message, my system downloads & installs 14342 but after rebooting fails to install update?

Not sure what could be causing it I have defender running I've tried without USB's attached as I read somewhere it might be that.

I also experience that my Surface Pro 3 does not properly shut down, albeit me selecting "Shut down" from the menu. Hence, battery is empty the next morning when I do not have it attached to power, OR, i hold the power-button for more than 20 seconds (or so) after apparently shut down and forcing a shut off.
