Office 2013, Visio 2013 and MS Project 2013 will not install on Windows 8 Pro

Hello,

I purchased via Microsoft Home User Program these three programs:
* Office 2013
* Visio 2013 
* Project 2013

I'm currently using Windows 8 Pro 64 bits and whenever I try to install any of these programs I get the following error:

windows cannot find c:/program files/microsoft office 15/clientX64/integratedoffice.exe Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again

For your information, before trying to install these programs, I had their respective 2010-32 bits versions installed. 
At the time I tried to install the 2013 (64bits) versions for the first time, I was informed that I needed to remove the 2010 32 bits versions first. So I did.

Now I'm getting this other error telling the installer is unable to find the integratedoffice.exe file.

Any ideas ?

Hello Michael,

 

This issue occurs when Office 2013 is not completely uninstalled. We have a Fix-It and a KB article that can be used to solve this problem. For more information, please see http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2809219
