Soft hyphen in Excel 2010 text fields

Dear Excel 2010 users,

Powerpoint 2010 has a feature that significantly improves processing of text data: it it now possible to insert soft hypens (U+00AD that can be insert with the key combination ALT + (NUM PAD)0173).  This enables intelligent word breaking, very close to what Word does.  Only the manual inserting of the soft hyphens has to be done.  Better would be an automatic algorithm as in Word, but ...

Now the question: is there a way to insert soft hyhens in Excel 2010 text fields, so that automatic word breaks are inserted as field height and width are changed an if the option "wrap long lines" has been set.

All hints / explanations are welcome.

Regards,
Tischbein.

Answer
Excel is not a word processor. If you really need hyphenation, consider creating a table in Word.
