I just updated my Windows 8 pro to Windows 8.1 pro. I've noticed lots of nice changes and I am loving it.
However, as I start to move my desktop icons, I found out that I am unable to move them. Not even one. When I drag the icons my mouse cursor will turn to a circle with a line through it cursor.
- Auto arrange icons and align icons to grid was disabled.
- I have no 3rd party software managing my desktop's icons.
- I have tried restarting.
I have read of this bug existing in Windows 8.1 preview. Is it the same bug?
Note: Refer "How to reset the computer to start as usual after troubleshooting with clean boot"under more information to reset the computer to start as normal after troubleshooting.
