Windows Phone Mango sync to outlook - 85010014

I take care of support in our Organization. We have 20 employees who are using WP7. 3 of us upgrade our phone to mango. After the update none of us can sync with Exchange BPOS any more. We are all getting error code: 85010014. The rest of the people who didn't update their phone have no issue. 

I am escalating this thread to give it higher visability with Microsoft.

Let me ask you this, and answer please sincerely:
When is MS gonna release a product when it's fully finished??? After reading some posts about many problems with this Mango update I cannot think to anything else than this update is as WP7 was released, a junk! a testing ground! a beta shhh****. It was just released and already people are having big problems: from outlook errors to completely stuck phone at boot logo.
How do you explain this by your knowledge?

If you're such a happy iPhone user, why are you bothering making posts like this?

I downloaded Mango last night and haven't found any problems yet. In fact, I'm overall very happy with the updates and impressed. Rather than force customers to buy a new phone to get it upgraded, Microsoft upgraded my phone for free basically.

Did you consider maybe that some of the error revolves around one of two things? Human error during the update and/or hardware error?

To the OP, please keep us all informed when this is fixed. I was waiting on Mango to make a push with the IT guys around here to allow for me to sync Outlook to a WP7.

Because I will never forget the fact that this summer I have spent 350 EUROS on an HTC Trophy 7 to find that I cannot use it for nothing useful, threw those money at the garbage in a more specific way of talking, aaannd because I have sincerely hoped for this platform to be something great, I was a MS mobile platform user in the past, but when I saw what joke MS released I was disappointed, nothing I used to have I DIDN'T found in the WP7: usb outlook sync, custom ringtones for calls,text,mail,alerts,alarms, GPS software,true GPS software such as IGO or navigon, and other missing important stuff.
I am not a facebook teenager to buy a gadget just for music,games and social networks, because this is what WP7 is, nothing more. I couldn't eve use USSD for my banking or other stuff I use on my network because this so great phone doesn't even know the very basic USSD.
I really hope for MS to reconsider the way they will think the next mobile version because this one, from the point of view of many many users that MS has lost with this, is a joke, even the older symbian phones can do more...
For it's Design and lag-free menu navigation is ok, but it's functionality is grounded under zero...
Orange Romania has dropped it's single WP7 device from their offer because of the poor sales, Vodafone has only one WP7 device in their offer, Cosmote (t-mobile member) has one.
All these network used to have from 2 to three Windows Mobile phone in the past but now they have from one to none.Why? Why even the mobile operators have no WP7 devices, but many Android devices and reported huge sales on iphones??? why? I think you know the answer

I'm not going to continue after I add these words, I don't wish to take this person's thread away from them.

But simply put, if you hate the phone this much then spend your time elsewhere. It's not worth ours or your effort. You left but keep clinging around here because you see the same potential in Windows Phone as everyone else. Androids are terrible, an open platform is destined to fail. Just as everyone criticizes MS for how poor security their computers have, Androids are that bad and worse. iPhones are not as user friendly as WP's.

Some people like their WPs, you don't, so stop trying to start a crusade against them.

I can wait for the OS to continue improving, you obviously are impatient.

Yeah please keep it to the post, I just want to get this issue fixed, I need my emails to arrive on my phone. Doesn't solve my issue that you don't like the mango update. I love it, but I have an issue so i posted it to get it fixed.

I'm attempting to intervene as early as possible with Mango related issues.  Please rest assured that Microsoft is carefully monitoring the Mango roll-out and any issues that arise during the course of the roll-out.  I've sent some emails out to my contacts about this issue and will continue monitoring this thread and will provide feedback as I learn more about the issue.

One of us also have Microsoft email( *** Email address is removed for privacy ***) and there is no sync issue on Mango device. It seems like it's only happening on BPOS account. 

At least we have found a common denominator, BPOS..

Yeah i agree to bother contacting them, they all moved to office365 and left us alone in BPOS it seems. We're penalized for having made the move first to the cloud, not even migrated to office365 on launch...

In any case ill stick to the post :P

 

So issue seems related to Outlook sync on Mango Phones on multiple carriers with BPOS as hosted service.
