Support and updates for Windows Phone 6.5 and earlier ended in January 2013. Since then, new questions and activity in this forum have decreased significantly and it is now time to retire the forum.

confirm the number is for official Microsoft Support.
Thank you for your interest in using Microsoft My Phone. The only way to transfer Outlook contacts from your desktop to your phone is through WMDC (Windows Mobile Device Center) or through using Exchange Active Sync. For the later option you will need to
have an account on an Exchange server and need to configure your mobile phone to use that connection.
Microsoft My Phone will not synchronize Outlook or Hotmail/Live contacts. This is by design. It will, however, synchronize contacts that were entered on the device using the Contacts application.
