Deleting contacts in Windows Live Mail in Win 7 (32 bit)
I imported my contact list from Outlook Express in Win XP into Windows Live Mail in Win 7. I can edit email addresses in my contact list, but I can't figure out
how to delete or add contacts, how to delete old email addresses, how to eliminate duplicates, etc. "Windows Contacts" does not show up in the list of Windows files/programs when I hit "All Programs", as some forums have suggested.
You have actually LOOKED at the Contacts folder in WLM?
Assuming WLM 2011.
Open WLM and click on your Contacts folder.
ALL the tools you need to delete, add new and edit your contacts are right there on the ribbon.
To delete a contact, highlight the contact and hit the big red X button that says "delete" under it.
To add a contact, click on the Contact button in the "New" section. You can also do this by right-clicking an email address in an email and choosing "Add to Contacts"
To edit a contact, again highlight the contact and click on the Edit Contact button in the "Actions" section.
