Can't resize in Live Photo Gallery

My Windows Live Photo Gallery doesn't have an option for Resize in the menu.  How can I download a new version that does?

Open windows photo gallery,

Use Alt+ and type FT

Post the version you have installed,

Include your operating system x-p/ vista sp3/ win-7 sp1/ win-8

Select the file and use Alt+EE for resize.

Sorry, but I don't understand.  Use Alt+ ?  My keyboard has an Alt and an Alt Gr.  Typing FT with either of those does nothing.

Is there a "?" question mark on the top right of your screen ?

If so click on it and click on About photo gallery,

You still have not said What your operating system is ?

Typically you can download windows essentials 2012 here,

Hi DvoraCat,

The steps given by Dissed can be explained as follows:

Alt + FT (Press ALT and T simultaneously. After that press T again or just click the About Photo Gallery on the drop down list that will appear.)  This is used in checking the version.

Alt + EE (Press ALT and E simultaneously. After that press E again.) This one of the ways on how you can resize your photo.

Aside from the keyboard shortcut, you can resize your photos on any of the following procedure.

  • Right click the photo you want to edit. Then click Resize.
  • Left click the photo you want to edit, then go to Edit tab on the upper part. Under Properties pane, click Resize.

Furthermore, here's the version of the latest Photo Gallery

  • Build: 15.4.3555.0308 on Vista
  • Build: 16.4.3505.912 on Windows 7 & 8

You can download the latest version of Photo Gallery on the link provided by Dissed, this will automatically give you the latest version depending on the operating system you are using.

Thanks.

Hi CharlotteGorton,

Thanks for posting here. I would like to clarify if you are having the issue just like the original poster. If so, you can follow the steps I gave last January 9 to check for the version of your Photo Gallery. You can also follow the tips I gave on how you can resize. If you want to download only, you refer to the link given by Dissed on his post last January 8. As for the version of Photo Gallery, the latest version now for Windows 7 and 8 is 16.4.3508.0205.

Should you have other concerns, feel free to reply back.

Regards,

Richard
