In 2003-2004 my Microsoft account was managed via an early version of the family safety product. Sometime later the account was promoted to an adult account and is no longer managed by any family safety products. However, there seems to be a lingering issue with my account. For example, I am unable to create a group in SkyDrive and get an error message stating "Windows Live Groups does not support Family Safety Managed Accounts.". I am also unable to use "Share as Link" file sharing options in SkyDrive. I am also unable to see the "Available" or "Invisible" options when I click on my name in the top right corner of outlook.com. I also do not see the small messaging icon that appears directly to the left of the setting icon.
Here is what I have tied to do to fix the problem:
1) I tried other browser and clear all caches
2) I created a new account to confirm it was isolated to my account, it is.
3) I installed family safety and visited the family safety website - I see no evidence that my account is managed via family safety.
I really do not want to switch to a different Microsoft account as it is linked to my xbox live family gold account (where I am the primary account) and several other Microsoft services.
Is there anyway to remote the invalid restrictions on my account?
