Error in InetCpl.cpl Missing entry: ClearMyTracksByProcess

Original Title: windows xp ClearMyTracksByProcess

Hi
I have Windows XP on my laptop and every little while a message pops up and than I have to restart my computer. The message is a RunDLL. It says Error in InetCpl.cpl Missing entry: ClearMyTracksByProcess

What should I do to get rid of this message. It is very annoying since I restart my computer whenever this message comes up.

Thanks

Hi joe.marcus,

1.     Have you made any recent changes on the computer?

2.     Do you receive the error message when performing any specific task on the computer?

I would suggest that you run SFC scan on the computer which would scan for corrupt system files on the computer and replace them.

The scan may take some time, so be patient. Windows will repair any corrupted or missing files that it finds. If information from the installation CD is needed to repair the problem, you may be prompted to insert your Windows XP installation disk.
