When right-clicking context menu disappears

Everytime I go into my start menu and bring up the context menu for a program (either on the start menu or in my "All programs"folder it quickly shows the box its in and vanishes.  I was able to use the right click just fine a long time ago but now it doesnt come up. Not sure how it happened. Any help.

Thanks

This can happen if you have third-party shell extensions installed, try to disable non-Microsoft context menu handlers one by one
and see which will be the culprit and remove it.

Use ShellExView - Shell Extension Manager to disable the non-Microsoft context menu handlers:

slow right click:
