Error Code: 656 (Can't install Silverlight)

Cannot update microsoft silverlight. I get error code 656.  please help!

You can try the below methods to fix this issue.

Method 1:

To begin with, I suggest that you run the Windows update troubleshooter and check if you have the same issue in installing this update:

Open the Windows Update troubleshooter by clicking the Start button, and then clicking Control Panel. In the search box, type troubleshooter, and then click Troubleshooting. Under System and Security, click Fix problems with Windows Update.

Method 2:

I suggest that you try to download this from different sources and try to install it.
