Question

Windows Calendar reminder does not pop up in front of all other open windows.

Applies To: Windows | Windows Vista | Programs
Windows Calendar reminder does not pop up in front of all other windows. Instead the reminder is behind whatever that happens to be displaying.  How can the reminder be set to always appear on top?  It is running under Vista home premium (build 6001 service pack 1).
The reminder needs to be on top to be useful.  Otherwise I can't see it.

Answer

Hi MrTeh,

Welcome to Microsoft Answers!

We do not have such option in Windows Calendar to set the reminder as a pop up in front of all other windows. However, you can put a check on the option “Play sound for reminders”.

To do this, follow these steps:

1. Open Windows Calendar.

2. Click on Files > Options.

3. Put a check on the option “Play sound for reminders”.

Hope the information helps. Please post back and let us know.
