October 2009 Cumulative Update for Media Center for Windows Vista

Applies To:
It is difficult to be sure, but I believe that the upgrade to 974306 made my Media Center unstable (ref error description below). I removed the upgrade and now it is stable. Screen flashes and then it goes blue. Will there be a new upgrade that works?
