How do I delete songs from a cd to clean off the cd so I can re'burn the songs?

I made a mistake when burning a cd, and can't reburn until I clear the cd to start over.

If this is a CDR, you can not delete anything. If it's a CDRW, you can. Which is it?

My advice is to to use CDRs and not CDRWs. They are much cheaper and they are much more reliable. If you have to throw one away now and then, it costs you only a few pennies.

When buying DISCs cheap means cheap. I buy only TDK the major developer of tape/disc or VERBATIM. The only disc you can rewrite to is a rewriteable disc and unless you use the Live File Format you won't beable to write and erase individule tunes. When the DISC if formated in the MASTER format you have to erase the entire disc. Look for CD-RW or DVD-RW. If you are just burning them to use in the sound system, the car or a another player and you want them to play in almost all players, even the older ones get the -R. The +Rs are for the newer players.

GOOD LUCK
