Is there a way to delete all duplicate files at once in Vista?

My computer has somehow managed to make duplicates (copies) of many of my files (including all pictures and music). Is there any way to select all duplicates (in a folder or folders or within the whole computer) and delete them all at the same time? This would save a great deal of time in going through and selecting them one by one to delete. The copies are taking up a great deal of space on my hard drive...

Thanks!

Hi,

Here are several free utilities and they all have their advantages and methods.

Auslogics Duplicate File Finder has the MD5 search engine which allows you to find duplicate
files by content, regardless other match criteria. It would be helpful, for example, when two
identical mp3 tracks or video files have different names
