Why is Lego Starwars suddenly crashing on my PC after it has played successfully?

We initially had problems with this game Lego Starwars The Video Game but we resolved them and managed to play it all the way through. Now it is crashing before we are able to load the game.  Sometimes we are able to play it after re-installing, but if you quit the game, it crashes at exactly the same place the next time you try it.  I have had a new graphix card installed since we last played it successfully but I have checked that I have the updated drivers.

 

I have tried SecuRom and Eidos (the publishers of the game) but so far I have not been able to resolve the issues.

1.       What have you tried to fix the issues related to installing the game?

2.       Have you installed the latest drivers for your graphics card?

I suggest that you try the below methods to fix this issue.

Method 1:

I suggest that you run the as Administrator and check if you have the same issue.

a.      Right click on the program and click on ‘Run as Administrator’.

If prompted for Administrator password, enter the password.

Method 2:

Run the game in compatibility mode. You can refer the below link that will give you information on this:
