Autorun not working for software and games.

In my control panel under AutoPlay I have "Install or run program" set for software and games. But when ever I put I software or game cd in my drive autoplay doesn't give the option to run it. Autoplay pops up and it displays "Mixed content options" and  "General options", none of which are options to run or install the software. It's like windows is ignoring the autorun.inf files on the disks.

Answer

I found the answer myself, I went into my registry under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\IniFileMapping\ and I deleted Autorun.inf. I ran ComboFix a few months ago and apparently it added

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\IniFileMapping\Autorun.inf]
@="@SYS:Software\\Swearware\\dump"

I didn't notice it until now because I have dual boot and I mostly use linux.
