Surface Barcode Reader

I have been looking if and how the Surface can read barcodes using the camera on the device itself. If somebody could link me to any of this information that would be wonderful. I have seen some various external devices to plug into the surface, but I am more interested in using the Surface device itself to use as the barcode scanner.

tap the store icon (looks like a bag with Msoft logo) on the start screen.

when the app opens, touch the Magnifying Glass icon on your Surface keyboard or swipe in from the right edge of the tablet and tap the Magnifying Glass icon there.

as Dpil said simply type the word "barcode"
