Question

Windows Vista won't update

Applies To: Windows | Other/Unknown | Windows Update

I have been unable to update Windows Vista for months now. I fixed it once by using the Vista disk and it's not updating again. What can I do now? And how does this affect the integrity of the PC?

To fix the windows update issue, Microsoft has come up with resetting the Windows Update. To help yourself, clik here .

Make sure that you click on, "FIX IT"

I have had the same problem, Vista won't update, on the auto update I get a message that Windows can't update error code 80080005.

I have run the fix it link on this thread in both the regular mode as well as in the aggressive mode, no results

What is next step?
