I-tunes; Safari; Apple software updater; encounter some unexpected installer problem

Applies To:
The Apple Software would like to update my Apple Software and then encounters some unexpected software problem and rolls back installation.
They recommend I uninstall Apple software updater;
 This uninstall process of Apple Software Updater fails to uninstall the application
The support recommends I Uninstall all 3 applications . Safari; I-tunes; Apple Software Updater
How do I know If my My Hardware video Player  specifications for 2 GHz are good enough to perform the I-tunes tasks.

My Hardware:

• A PC with a 1GHz Intel or AMD processor

• Intel Pentium D or faster processor is required to play Standard Definition video from the iTunes Store

(Gateway M 6320 Processor is 1.86 GHz Intel R, Pentium R Duo processor T 2390)

Intel Chipset is Intel 965 display; Generic PnP monitor end

My Hardware Question

The Main question is if the Next line is old inadequate hardware

• 2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo or faster processor is required to play HD video, an iTunes LP, or iTunes Extras from the iTunes Store

Should I stop updating Apple Software is my Question
