Kingston DT 101 (G2). does not load on my dell xps laptop

USB is fickle at best. Sometimes (after flashing for a long time) it may show, display. Other times it throws the message that the flash needs to be Formatted, However, if I click on Format it throws "windows can't locate the ...

Other Flash works on my laptop - very quickly,

The Kingston flash shows up on my Desktop (could read and write to it).

On the Laptop, when the Kingston Flash is finally displayed and I click on the drive the following message is displayed "F:\ is not Accessible" "Incorrect Function".

I am unable to access my files.
