Problems Activating Microsoft Flight Simulator X

When Flight Simulator loads, it asks me to activate. I click activate now. I enter my product key, which it accepts. Then, it connects and tells me it failed. This should not be an issue of having installed it on too many computers, as I have only installed it on one. I click the option to activate by telephone, and then it gives me an error message saying to re-install.
