Cant play MSN Spades

I like to waste a little time playing spades on line with the msn zone network connection. It was working just fine and without any adjustments by me all of a sudden I cannot connect to a game. I can get into hearts(multiplayer) but not spades. What could have happened. I am not the least bit technical.
