System_Service_Exception in Windows 8

I just got a new computer with windows 8. Today it had an update and then after it restarted it gets a blue screen while restarting and then gets the

System_Service_Exception. It says You PC ran into a prblem & needs ti restart and freezes. Can anyone help?

Please provide the following information to help us figure out the problem:

    - Please zip up the contents of the C:\Windows\Minidump directory

    - Upload it to the Public area of a SkyDrive account ( https://skydrive.live.com )

    - Post a link here so we can download it.

and

    - Go to Start (or press the “Win” and “R” keys at the same time), type in "msinfo32" and press Enter

    - When the utility opens, save a copy of it as an .nfo file, and another copy as a .txt file (in case the .nfo is corrupted - which happens fairly often)

    - Zip them up and upload them to the Public area of a SkyDrive account ( https://skydrive.live.com )

    - Post a link here so we can download it.

I am having the same problem.  The computer is a week old. I did the initital set up last Tuesday and planned to install office today.  I can't even get in long enough to zip the minidump file. But I was able to get the msinfo32 file just before it crashed again.  It just crashes over and over.  Any suggestions?

JeDa6706 please start your own question so that your problem can get the individual attention that it deserves.

See if you can stay in Windows longer by trying Safe Mode (and let us know the results).  Also try Safe Mode with Networking.

I am too having the same problem, and also when I close a tab,  I can hear it in the background and I am not supposed to ....  help with easier instructions...

I am having the same problem,  The computer is less than 3 days old.  Wow, disappointing.,  I'm doing a restore as we speak, lost all my work for which I got up at 3:00 am.  If this doesn't work, returning computer and everything.  How bad is this?

this happens every day for me, it restarts on its own. tho the store I bought it from just has all windows 8 so I don't think I could take it back because they'll just reimburse me another windows 8...  I have watched youtube videos trying to figure things out, like how to clean cache,  where to defrag but it says something else.   I just do not like windows 8.. tho one good thing about it, it has spell checker in it,  and  I checked the games and they are only trial games.   no free games on here???

Same problem here with a new HP Pavilion 23 all-in-one.  Purchased just before Christmas as a present for my mother, has crashed 5 or 6 times over several days.

Doing nothing special when blue screen comes up saying to look on the Internet for a solution to error "SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION"  Automatically reboots in several seconds and all work is lost.  No solution found after searching the Internet.  This page is the best I have found, which offers nothing certain.  I will try the driver verifier mentioned above, but does not sound like a certain solution.

Need a solution quick (a day or two) or the computer will have to be returned before we go home, or mom will be left with a nightmare for Christmas.

Looks like this is something HP did, as the posts I have seen that name the brand all say HP computers (different models and types).  I purchased a Samsung laptop with Windows 8 about a month ago, and no crashing problem with that (I will spare you the other Windows 8 complaints).

I'm sorry, but I do not understand any of these instructions..  I mainly work with the internet, not with the drivers,  or drivers.

I have a gateway, and received it before Christmas, and I too have the blue screen from time to time now.  it has less now ... altho I still receive it and have to restart or it just restarts by it self.
