WINDOWS 8 - Error 0x80070522: A required privilege is not held by the client

When i try to copy a file from a flashdrive to my C:\ drive I am getting this error.
Error 0x80070522: A required privilege is not held by the client

 

How can I solve this problem?

Hi Guys

You need to disable UAC completely. This is done in the registry.
Click Start > Run > regedit. Make a backup of registry first to be safe.
go to path below and change the DWORD to 0
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System, EnableLUA and set to 0

This worked for me
